A remarkable early 1900's Haitian Folk Art Carved and Painted Bust of Toussaint L'Ouverture by Ulyssee Dabouze and Jean Felix Clemence.
The condition is Near Fine with minor paint loss and wear. The back is signed by both artist using their initials and front gives the name of this famous General of Haiti's history.

A French Daguerreotype of a woman with Huge almost deformed hands. This clear and precise image may well be a medical portrait of woman or a rare portrait that coincidentally shows a woman who has a medical abnormality. Either way this a Rare and obscure photographic image in remarkable condition.
The Daguerreotype is behind a black glass frame.
The back of the frame has the French paper label intact, please see the photos. The photographer is " Glenisson" located on Rue Saint- Antoine, 87, Paris.
The size of frame is: 5" x 6"

Condition is very good.
The cover is cloth with applied pierced print of a woman finished off in embossed gold.

Late 1800's Pigeon book called "The Book of Pigeons for Standards of Judging by Robert Fulton and illustrated with 50 Colored Plates from the paintings of J. W. Ludlow.
Publisher is Cassell and Company Limited with Moroccan leather and cloth end boards. The binding is leather has split on the edge, approx. 2" long.
The full color prints are in fine condition, some slight discoloring on pages.
I have photographed some of the pages, all the images are beautiful. The text are also illustrated in steel line engravings.
One of the best books published and has been collectible for many years. Here is a rare chance to own a book with many Pigeons that are now extinct.

Historical MemorabiliaPhotography
Charles Eisenmann was one of the top sideshow freak photographer in New York. His studio was near P. T. Barnum's Museum so he photographed some of the worlds most famous performers during the later part of the 1800's. This one being one of the smallest in the world, Miss Lucia Zarate who weighed in at 4 lbs! She was considered the Mexican Liliputian and is in the Guinness Book of Worlds Records as the smallest person. She died in 1890 at age 26 years old.
This Charles Eisenmann Cabinet Card is of Miss Lucia Zarate. The condition is in very good shape with minimal wear. The image is sharp and crisp and is a wonderful image of one of the most famous performers.

Antique Furniture
George Hunzinger was one of the most impressive and stylized American Furniture makers from the Victorian era. He emigrated from Europe in 1855 and set to work making and designing furniture in New York. Here is one of his very famous Lollypop Arm Rockers in Oak circa last quarter of the 1800's.
In very fine condition and a true rarity to find in such great shape. The joints of the wood are tight and his patent spring mechanism is in perfect working order.
