A wonderful WWII Propaganda painting of a machinist in the Fellows Gear Sharper Union by George Calvin Graham who was in the union. The painting is painted on pressed board and is dated 1941 and signed by the artist with his Union Number. This wonderful painting is dedicated to the Fellows Gear Sharpers and is promoting the United States War Time Slogan " Bonds Beat Bunds". A wonderful part of early WW II history painted by in a naive style. The painting measures approx. 19 1/2" x 25 1/2".
