A French Daguerreotype of a woman with Huge almost deformed hands. This clear and precise image may well be a medical portrait of woman or a rare portrait that coincidentally shows a woman who has a medical abnormality. Either way this a Rare and obscure photographic image in remarkable condition. The Daguerreotype is behind a black glass frame. The back of the frame has the French paper label intact, please see the photos. The photographer is " Glenisson" located on Rue Saint- Antoine, 87, Paris. The size of frame is: 5" x 6"

Charles Eisenmann was one of the top sideshow freak photographer in New York. His studio was near P. T. Barnum's Museum so he photographed some of the worlds most famous performers during the later part of the 1800's. This one being one of the smallest in the world, Miss Lucia Zarate who weighed in at 4 lbs! She was considered the Mexican Liliputian and is in the Guinness Book of Worlds Records as the smallest person. She died in 1890 at age 26 years old. This Charles Eisenmann Cabinet Card is of Miss Lucia Zarate. The condition is in very good shape with minimal wear. The image is sharp and crisp and is a wonderful image of one of the most famous performers. If you have any questions or need additional photos, please feel free to email me.

French hand tinted Daguerreotype portrait of an artist in frame with faux tortoise shell mat. The original back paper states the artist is Thalamas. The frame is approx 9 1/2" x 8" and the image size is 2 3/4" x 3 1/2".

Chiquita also known as Little One, The Living Doll, and her real name Alizia Espiridiona was born in 1869. Obermuller and Son, 5th street near 4th ave, photographs this circa 1900 cabinet card. The photographer was located in New York in the late 1800’s and early 1900’s. Obermuller and son photographed many other sideshow performers in the New York area. The cabinet card has slight fading and has a small water stain in the center. The back is singed in Pencil “Chiquita” and the size of the card is approx. 4 1/2" x 6 1/2".
