1700s Botanical Abraham Munting Colored Plate of Apocynum Virginianum
Abraham Munting (1626-1683) taught medicine and botany at the Academy of Groningem in the Netherlands.
Published in the late 1600’s, the hand colored plate has strong crisp edges with bold colors. The paper is watermaked in the paper on the left edge.
Print: 17½” x 10¾” (plate 12¼” x 7¾”)
Condition: Some spotting throughout the page and edge tape on the left side of paper.
