Charles Watson signed OIl Painting on Board 8” x 11”
Charles A. Watson ( 1857-1923), painter of harbor and marine subjects. Is career was based primarily in Baltimore Md and many of his subjects included the Chesapeake Bay.
This low light and tranquil scene has three boats painted from the shore. The painting is an oil on board and is approx. 8” x 11”, signed lower left “Watson”. The painting is unframed and has very minor frame marks along the edge. The painting is in over all excellent condition.
