SUMIDA-GAWA POTTERY BOWL Japanese bowl with 10 figures looking into the center.
Sumida pottery was popular style of export from the last quarter of the 1800’s to about 1920’s. The pottery was known for the bold bright drip colored glazes and applied figures to the edges and sides of the pots, bowls, cup and other shaped vessels.
