1950’s Alchemy Wall Clock with Hand Painted Symbols on Glass with Light

One of the most interesting pieces I have seen in awhile and from the Estate of Dr. Provenza ( the Baltimore Apothecary collector ) a hand pained circa 1950’s Alchemy Wall clock.
The symbols are hand painted on glass, the light still works.
The clocks runs but it runs backwards and I am sure this is on purpose.
Condition: some paint loss on back glass and very minor paint flaking of symbols
