17-18th C. Colonial Ascension Painting

This is a wonderful 17-18th C. Baroque style ascension painting. The painting has been cut to fit into this 19th century panel. The panel has a gilded boarder that is in excellent shape. I believe this is a colonial panting but it has been very difficult to track down the exact origins. The total height is 40" and the width is 26" Please feel free to email with more questions
