1800s Folk Art Carved and Painted African American Man Head

A Very Special Collection of carved wood nutcrackers, Folk Art, Walking Sticks and other pieces will be up for sale.
A local collector has decided to downsize their amazing collection. I will note which pieces are coming from their collection and more items will be coming in soon. If you have interest in one more item or are interested in hearing about what is coming in, please contact me.
From the collection of nutcracker comes this wonderful Folk Art Carved Walking Stick. The African American man's face is a wonderful piece. The painting gives the accents to this expressive face. The walking stick is one solid piece of wood.
One eye is a painted glass and the other is a painted wood. I am not sure which one is the original but I would guess the glass one was the original to the the walking stick.
Condition: Very good with some marks and wear to the the patina and the paint. One of the eyes has been replaced, please see the photos.
Size: 37" long and the head carving is approx. 2.75" high
