1920's Erotica Book Plate Hand Colored of Two Women Unsigned Plate Framed
A period Art Deco Book Plate, hand colored and framed in a Decorative frame.
The Art Deco era gave a sense of freedom to many taboos such as sex. Many of the Art of the times is filled with Erotica, sexual adventure and perverse images.
This Erotic image is of two women in bed. Appears to be a book plate, I do not know which book or artist, but the image is hand colored giving the picture life and elevation to Art for the walls.
Coloring is Water Color with Gouache.
Note: some water spots from artist water coloring the image.
Image is frame in very nice simple Art Deco Frame.
Size: 11 x 13
