1928 Hardback Edition Cowboy By Ross Santee Signed with Two Original Watercolors Grosset & Dunlap

Ross Santee, illustrator and writer of American Western Novels. Santee was born and raised in Iowa, trained to be a cartoonist at the Chicago Art Institute, and then moved to New York City.
Critics and the public found his stories and drawings to "faithfully describe the real West with candor, truth, and feeling".
This 1928, First edition of Cowboy, thought be based on his life, published by Grosset and Dunlap is hardback with no dust jacket.
Unlike other editions, this one is signed by Santee with two Original watercolors. One is on the first blank page, the other is a small cowboy on a horse under the title page.
I have included photos of both.
The first one is inscribed by Santee to Kay Dinger, who is the daughter of my client.

Condition: box cover has damage, spine is slightly cocked and minor soiling to edges with shelf wear. Please see the photos for a visual description.
