1930s Persian Bidjar 4 x 6 Wool Hand Knotted Rug
1930's Persian Bidjar 4'5 x 6'10, in very good condition.
The Persian Bidjars are sometimes referred to as the Iron Rugs of Persia, very sturdy & heavy as a result of the way the knots are compacted together.
The rug does have a tonal variance, known as "abrash", which is a result of the weaver using wool from different dye lots.
The pile is in very good condition.
