1/4 Plate Daguerreotype Father and Daughter Hand Tinted Hanging
A very nice hanging Daguerreotype of a father and daughter. Hand tinted image, the young girl's clothes and her face and cheeks are tinted as well. The man, his shirt and face are tinted.
The daguerreotype has the original seals when I took the plate out to see if there are any identifying makers mark or names of two people.
I have not cleaned or altered this piece in any way.
Size: Quarter plate 3.25 x 4.25 inches (8 x 11 cm)
Condition: fine with original seals. The glass will need to be cleaned and some spotting to the daguerreotype image. Please see images for details of the spotting areas and details.
**NOTE**
I have photographed this piece in two ways of natural light. Any damage will be noted and any marks you see will be a reflection
