Size: 14 x 10.5 inches
Condition: some chipping on the lower left corner to the wrapper and soiling and toning to the top right corner. Spine has damage and wear with bumped and rubbed corner. Some damage and loss to the wrapper on spine edge. Back has tear on lower edge with some of the wrapper missing. Chipping and marks at the corners and toning in areas. Binding shows signs of use and wear with some pages weakening at binding, not missing pages. Inside of front and back cover, tape on wrappers’ flap. No damage to the images and all images are complete. Please see the images provided for more details. 

"Verve was a modernist Parisian art magazine published by Teriade between 1937 and 1960. The magazine was first published in December 1937 with a cover featuring artwork by Henri Matisse.  The headquarters of the magazine was in Paris. It published 38 issues in 10 volumes including lithographs by the most prominent artists of the Parisian art scene of the first half of the 20th century. In addition, the early contributors included James Joyce and Ernest Hemingway. The magazine ended in 1960"
