half-titles, 2 frontispieces, 14 plates and plans, many folding, 1 large folding map end vol. ii, original brown cloth gilt, lightly rubbed, a very good set. O'Donovan made his journey to Merv in 1879 as correspondent for the Daily News.
Size: 2 vols. 8vo.
Condition: VG with Vol 1 hing is cracked, Vol 2 back hing is cracked. Lower Part of spine has minor shelf wear to the cloth, shelf wear. Maps and pages have small tears but are intact. Vol 1 has some foxing on the first fly page. First fly page is loose in Vol 1
