3 Documents of Modern Art Series Books Wittenbon, Schultz Apollinaire, Kandinsky and Moholy-Nagy

The Documents of Modern Art Series of books were published by Robert Motherwell in the 1940's. His series of books, many written while the artists were still living and were and are considered on the finer books of and by modern artist for the American market.
Published in the US by Wittenborn, Schultz, inc. in New York in the 1940's and a second edition was done in 1955 by Halliday Lithographers.

The three books are all second editions except for the Apollinaire, which was done in 1949.

1. Guillaume Apollinaire: The Cubist Painters Aesthetic Meditations (first published in 1913)
Published by Wittenbon, Schultz 
Year: 1949
1st edition, staple bound with soft cover. Old Pencil price on first page. Light stain on top edge and on the right edge front cover. Binding is very fine. 
2. Wassily Kandinsky: Concerning The Spiritual in Art (first published in 1912)
Published by Wittenbon, Schultz  (second edition 1955 by Halliday Lithographer)
Year: 1955
reprint of the 1947 edition. Soft cover with lamination on front and back. Very slight curl to the front cover. Binding is fine, glue binding shows some age but no loose pages or damage inside. 
3. Laszlo Moholy-Nagy: The New Vision and Abstract of an Artist ( first published in 1928)
Published by Wittenbon, Schultz (second edition 1955 by Halliday Lithographer)
Year: 1955
reprint of 1947 edition, soft cover with glue binding. Very good binding with no issues.
