A Fantastic Very Nice mid to late 19th Century Chess Table with Marquetry Inlay and Design

A mid to late 19th century Marquetry Chess table. The inlay is in a wonderful geometric design which continues to the legs. The turned center post and the design leads me to believe this is French or possible Italian. The table top is approx 24" square and the height is approx 20 3/4" high. The top has some shrinkage and has been re-enforced, as you can see from the photos.
The marquetry has minor loss and the finish looks to be untouched. Center post looks to have been re-glued and is still a bit loose
