A Large Folk Artist Oustsider Art Paul "Baltimore Glassman" Darmafall

Paul "Baltimore Glassman" Darmafall is one of the top outsider artist that Baltimore Md has had the fortune to call their own. Discovered in the the early to mid 80's, Paul humor and wit is a part of every piece. His pieces had to speak to you and you had to know the language that Paul used to sometimes get the message he was saying and sometimes spreading. His piece were made of found wood, and mostly any flat surface he could find. He would crush glass and break glass shards and glue them with simple white glue and paint. His pieces had a life and death but his message would last longer than most of his pieces.
This large piece is a unusual piece with flags but it still stands a great piece of Baltimore Glassman. His iconic phrase "fresh air cure" and "non electric" is written in the middle spreading his message, just being outside breathing and using your own power to do things.

This large piece will be one of many that this estate has collected from years of friendship with Paul. The majority of the pieces I will be selling were in the Visionary Arts Museum Show in 1999.

Size: 24" x 27"
Please note, the piece is missing a marble on the top right of the cross bone.
