From the original works of Albert Pike, a 33 degree Grand Commander born 1859 and died 189, this book is collection of the research he did on the symbolism and meaning behind some of the Scottish rite most notable characters and symbols. Alber Pike believed that the symbolism was the "soul of Masonry" 

Size: 7 1/4 x 9 1/4 inches.

Condition: the binding is tight with minimal signs of use or wear. No writing inside and the pages are very clean with no issues. The cloth cover is near mint with no damage to the front or back. The Dust Jacket has light shelf wear on the cover and top edge has very light wrinkle with a small top left edge tear. Back has bottom edge wrinkle on the left side.
