The Passion of our Lord Jesus Christ, portrayed by Albrecht Dürer, also called "The Small Passion" is printed by Chiswick Press: printed by Whittingham and Wilkins. Published by Bell and Daldy, York Street, Covent Garden 1870.
The book is edited by Henry Cole and as stated, this is a new edition from his 1844 that is "almost the same".
Half Morrocan end boards with ribbed spine. Marble papers and gold edge pages.
Cond. shelf wear to cover, wear to leather and foxing through out the book. Binding is tight but shows some wear, Please see the photos of areas of foxing and other noted wear.
