Antique Cast Iron Bar Saloon Spittoon Top Hat Form Circa 1800's

Before they banned cigarettes in bars, they had chewing tobacco and to stop the spitting on the floor they had spittoons and like smoking in bars they moved away from chewing tobacco.
So once and awhile a little piece of every day history comes in, perfect for the smoker, chewing tobacco enthusiasts, or historical accurate people out there.

Unmarked, most are made by Standard Mfg. Co., Pittsburg, PA. and appears to be very similar to their models.
The common color was black to mirror the Top Hat look and had a enamel/ porcelain liner, this one has been painted with a gold radiator paint and is missing the liner.

Size: 11" wide x 6" tall
Condition: fine, missing the liner and has been repainted gold. some wear on the bottom and age wear. Please see the images to have a visual description.
