Arts and Crafts Era Watercolor of Medieval Princess with Ornate hand Made Gold Gilt Neo Classical Frame
The Neo Classical Gothic style frame is hand molded and gilt. Please see the details of this amazing frame as well as a very fine detailed water color.
The Arts and Crafts Movement in England and America not only applied Renaissance techniques and features but the subject water and direct imagery also fit into this anti Industrial Revolution Movement.
The subject of medieval and gothic literature was applied to a lot of the visual arts.
This hand painted in water color of a Medieval Princess is a step above the Lithographs that you seen of the assorted Princesses.
Notice the detail and control of the watercolor, still retaining almost a printed quality.
Year: Circa 1900
Medium: Watercolor
Size: 11 inches tall x 7 inches wide
Condition: the water color has slight fade. The frame has minor bumps and has a small repair at the bottom of the frame. Please see images for details and a visual description.

This piece has been framed and has not been altered, original back and glass is intact. I have photographed this under glass and there may be some glare in the photos, all damage will be noted.
