Barry Ebling & The Invaders – I Can Make It Without You / Sunny Day Rain on Norman Records – 851N-581.

The band came from Granite City, IL. but the band played a lot in St. Louis. Their label Norman was based in St. Louis and had a string of singles out on their label starting in 1960.
But the band, Barry Ebling & The Invaders, "I Can Make It Without You" is just a perfect slab of garage guitar distortion and slurred and distraught vocals but its after the second chorus that the songs launches into a bash and crash stomp. The B side is a great jangle pop/ folk number but the harmony is like something you would here from a kraut rock band. Not a typical B side!

Condition: Vinyl is Solid Vg+, plays great and no tracking issues. Sounds amazing with and plays very clean. Side 2 has very light crackle at the very start but goes away very quickly. A quick pop about 45 sec in. No Issues. Both sides have very light marks but not affecting the sounds or tracking.
