Bradley and Hubbard style Bacchus Mirror with two Candle Holders
A brass mirror from Circa 1880's-1900, most of these where done by the amazing Bradley and Hubbard Co. who made great Neo-Classical and other early 20th century decorative arts pieces for the home.
Their catalog was extensive and some of their pieces can reach very high retail numbers.

The Neo-Classical era motif of Bacchus, the Roman god of pleasure and wine, was a popular subject of the times.
The head is at the top and the rest of the frame is designed with ornate floral design.

Year: Circa 1880's-1900
Material: cast metal with a brass patina / painted finish. The mirror is glass with painted silvering on the back.

This small wall mirror is approx 18" tall by 10" wide. The bottom part has the attached candle holder and is attached by two thread screws with nuts.
Typical of Bradley and Hubbard is the metal backing, please see the images provided.

Size: Approx 18 x 10 inches
Condition: fine with silvering damage to the lower right corner of the mirror, please see details of this area. The metal frame is fine with original mounts. The finish is appears to original, a brass finish patina over metal.
