Circa 1920's Oak Frame Last Rites Wall Cabinet with Christ Being Held By Mary Statue

A last rites wall mount case with the statue of Christ held by Mary, after he was taken off the cross.
The last rites box were in almost all Catholic houses. These oak shadow boxes were reverse painted and had a lithograph image on the bottom door. The Door hid the last rites implements. This piece is being sold without the implements, missing the candle hodlers and the candles, tray and other pieces. Only the near perfect case and figure is being sold.

Year: Circa 1900-1920's

Size: 22 1/2" tall x 13 1/4" wide x 5" deep
Condition: Very Good, with a very nice patinaed oak cabinet, the glass is in very good condition with only a slight paint damage. Please see the images.
