Circa 1930's Painted Plaster Wall Hanging Nude Woman Clinging to Rock Rock of Ages

A variation of the Rock of Ages image, circa 1930's.

Rock of ages theme was one of sheltering from the storm and salvation.
The woman/ sometimes a man was shipwrecked and was the only survivor of the shipwreck, finding shelter from the storm and carnage the others have suffered against the rock face. You often see this woman clinging to the stone christian cross.

This image has become a staple of tattooers in the late 1800 to modern times, many images and variations can be seen in tattoo shops and on people.
This plaster cast is done circa 1930's and the details show wear to the plaster.

Size: 7" wide x 13" tall
Condition: good with paint loss throughout and some minor chipping to the plaster. I have taken many photos and angles to give you details of the condition.
