Circa 1950's Huge Carved Wooden Statue of Sancho 4 Foot Tall Don Quixote

Sancho Panza, one of the characters from the book by Cervantes Saavedra, Don Quixote written in 1605.
Many sculptures, monuments and paintings have been inspired by Spain's most beloved and influential book.

"Sancho acts as squire to Don Quixote, and provides comments throughout the novel, known as sanchismos, that are a combination of broad humour, ironic Spanish proverbs."

This piece comes from a local house, originally owned by McCormick estate, the spice company in Baltimore.


Size: Sancho is 4' 3" tall
Condition: In Very good condition, minor wear on base
