Civil War Era Surgeons Pocket Field Set by J. H. Gemrig with Retraction Chain Trocar and Scalpels
J. H. Gemrig, Philadelphia Civil War Era Surgeons Pocket Field Surgery Set
J. H. Gemrig was a major supplier of surgical sets and instruments to the U. S. Army during the Civil War.
Each knife is marked Gemrig and the box still have the original paper label.
One Scalpel does not match, the bone handle knife is not a Gemrig.
The Set includes Scalpels, Silver Trocar and Retraction Chain with Hooks, Scissors and Tweezers
Size: the box is approx. 7" x 3"
Condition: the box is in great condition and the the scalpels are in very good condition consider it has been used since Civil War.
