Clement Haupers (1900-1982)
Medium: Ground Etching
Numbered: 3/10

A great moment in the history of the Paris, Jazz and flamboyant scene. The dancers are nude, showing the out going and forward thinking times of Paris.
The dancers are topless with the typified Paris short bob haircut of the times of the Art Deco / Jazz era.
Josephine Baker Famous debut was a year before this piece was done and the dancer on the right has a reminiscent style of the dress that made Josephine famous.
It was hard to decide and sell this piece, I wanted to keep it but you can't keep it all!!

Condition: Very good, the print has been professionally cleaned. Please see images for details of the this piece.
