Derriere Le Miroir No 251 Raoul Ubac Folio Published by Galerie Maeght 1982 Complete

Derriere Le Miroir was “French art magazine created in 1946 and published until 1982.”
Published till No. 253, the Ubac was one of the last to be published by this highly respected and important Art’s Magazine.
Published and Printed by Galerie Maeght, the gallery was at the center of the Art World right before the outbreak of WWII. Published by Aimé Maeght (27 April 1906 – 5 September 1981) a French art dealer, collector, lithographer, and publisher, he “was the founder, editor and publisher of the French art magazine Derrière le Miroir, created in 1946 and published uninterruptedly until 1982.”

No. 251 was for Raoul Ubac, 24 pages in a loose bound folio. Many Black and White as stated Photogravures with the color photos by Claudce Gaspari.

Size: 11 X 15 inches
Condition: Near fine, the folio has very little shelf wear, with a slight discoloring at the bottom part of the front. The back has very light and faint marks from storage. The inside is very crips with bold and stark white pages. The first page has a pencil price on the top right. Please see the images for more detail.
