Egyptian Revival German Silver Mesh Purse with Leather Linning Winged Scarab
A period Egyptian Revival Mesh Purse, circa early 1900's.
Marked inside, German Silver (not sterling silver). The leather liner is in remarkable, near perfect condition with only slight soiling.
The top decorated is in good condition with minimal wear to the details of the scarab with wings. Some heavy tarnishing to the edges of the top.
The Mesh is ruff, and appears to have "build up" or has started to oxidize. Please see the photos for a detailed visual of this area.
