French Neoclassical Green Onyx Pedestal with Bronze Ormolu Capital and Base Circa 1890s

Neoclassical green Onyx fluted column pedestal with Ormolu on the capital circa 1890's
The Neoclassical period was time of revivals, new classical. Many designs were incorporating ideas antiquities. 
This original, late 1800's green onyx column pedestal with the fluted column is toped with a detailed flower ormolu and the bass is fished of with a wreath on a chamfered step-down base.
Not marked but these exquisite pieces were made in France. 

Condition: Light scratches on the top of the pedestal and a water stain. Please see the images of this detail. The column and ormolus are in very good condition with no damage, light marks on the base. 
The onyx is not cracked or broken. 

Size: approx 40 1/2 inches tall
