George Nelson Half Nelson Lamp Gold Brass Color Circa 1970's Koch and Lowy Lamp Co.
Sturgis Antiques is proud to offer this amazing George Nelson designed lamp.
George Nelson Lamp, Half-Nelson Table Lamp
Produced by Koch and Lowy lamp company in 1977, the lamp was offered in brass, chrome, and black or white enameled finishes.
This lamp design is one of the most interesting, in my opion done by Nelson. The lamp had it's prototype in the 1950's but finally came to being in the 1970's.
When lit, the shade can be moved to shield the light or tilted up to give more light.
Size: 15 1/2 diam shade and the total height is approx 18" tall
Condition: Very good, new switch has been installed. Very slight dent on the edge of the shade. Very minor scuffs to the lacquer and some marks on the lamp base. Please see the images provided for more details and a visual description.
