Harry Beckhoff, American 1901-1979 illustrator for Redbook, Collier’s and other magazines from the 1930’s-1950’s. He is one of the top American Illustrators active during the fist 5o years of the 1900’s.
Original Water Color and Pencil on Artist Board. The back states: “Redbook – June Tenth Reunion pg. 47”.
Front has faint pencil marks for registration with notes.
The colors are strong and vibrant and is singed lower right.
The young couples sit next to a Rose Vine while the Old man comes over to them.
The board has approx 14 pinholes and the top right corner is chipped. The Size is approx. 11” x 14” and the image is 8 3/4” x 10 1/4”.
