John Lennon Signed “John Lennon In His Own Write” 10th Printing from May 1975 while he was in Philadelphia 

“signed during the WFIL Helping Hand Marathon. This took place May 16-18, 1975, the parking lot of the TV station WFIL.”
Front of book is signed in ballpoint pen. 
Condition: Book has wear on spine and worn edges. Signature is fine with slight fading to ink. Please see the images for more details. 

Three days in May, 16-18, 1975 John Lennon spent the weekend answering phones and taking pledges for the Helping Hand Marathon in Philadelphia. He spent the weekend on the air, WFIL. Of course the news got around quickly, fans gathered waiting to see him. According to a small documentary online, he came out one time and auctioned off his socks, you can see photos of this. He said “No” to nothing, he would say and do anything to raise money and to get a pledge. My client was lucky enough to get this book signed during his time in Philadelphia.

This piece comes from one of the Sigma Kids who were a group of 10 kids hanging outside of Sigma Studios while David Bowie was recording Young Americans. There are many photos of this famed group and I am happy to share a picture of my client.
