Large and Rare French WW I Trench Art Windmill with Moving Parts Marked

A fantastic WW I Trench Art Windmill approx. 26 1/2" to the top of the weather vane and a blade span of 25 1/2". The windmill stands on base that is almost 3 3/4" tall.

The artillery shell is marked on the bottom but is obstructed by the base. I believe this shell to be a French Shell done by an observer in the Holland area during WW I, plus the weather vane is marked "N E S and O ( West in French is ouest).
The detail to the brick bonding is amazing as well as the machine like quality of the blades and the window sills, which there are three. The Stairs are made of bullets stuck end to end. The roof is cut and bent (also from an artillery shell) and the weather vane is cut out and mounted onto a nail like piece in the roof The weather vane does move as well as the windmill's blades.
