Late 1800s Quarter Sawn Oak Dinning Table with Two Leaves Golden Oak Farm Table
Quarter sawn oak, or Tiger Oak dinning table, circa late 1800's.
The top is a solid oak with Tiger Maple secondary wood, so most likely manufactured in the northern United States.
The condition is near perfect with only very minor surface marks on the edges. The two extra leaves, which are approx. 11 3/4" wide.
The table is approx. 4 feet x 4 feet x 29" high. The top is approx. 1" thick and the apron is 3 1/2" high. The metal wheel casts are included but are not photographed in the table. The coasters will raise the height of the table by approx. 2 1/2".
