Menuki Circa 1920’s Pot with Face on the Front and Broom Japanese Sword Hardware Katana

Menuki (Handle Ornamentation)
Year: Circa 1920’s
Description: A Mystical Pot with Face on the front and Broom. The Metal is much thinner than the early Meiji Period pieces but this charming and strange subject is amazing. The lidded pot has what appears to be a face and the lid is the hat. The broom throws me off in the meaning but that is what makes this piece so charming. Take a look for yourself, that is what collection is about with objects, the story that you can make of objects.

Size: 1 9/16th Inches
Condition: fine with minimal signs of use. The paint and is near fine, the back pins are bent in. Please see the images for a visual description.
