Mid Century Design Lighting The Minisol K. Kewo for NORDISK SOLAR Hanging Lamp with Teak Wall Mounted Arm 1960s

The Minisol designed by K. Kewo and made for the Danish company Nordisk Solar, circa 1960s

The Danish manufacture, Nordisk Solar made beautiful and modernist pieces and their lighting is great. 
The shade is colored plastic and attached to the wall with a stylish and sleek teak arm.
Deisigned by K. Kewo, his design is simple and yet futuristic, similar to the Panton's innovative designs, Kewo added to this flower pot design. What sets him apart is his scale, designed to add not to distract or over power, this additional lighting is set to highlight an area with subtle. 
Off, the color is bold and striking, you can see this turquoise stands out. The teak arm blends in and is a neutral tone. 

The Minisol, as it is known, is  constructed from moulded ABS plastic – a speciality of Nordisk Solar Compagany. 

Size: 8 x 9 inches and the arm is 22" long
Condition: very fine with no visible cracks, the light has been hanging in the house for over 35 years and will need to be cleaned. The Teak arm is fine with light soiling marks. The Cord is original and has some soiling, but has the original thumb switch and the original cord and plug.
