Oscar Robinson Ransbottom Cookie Jar with Lid Dough Boy Circa 1940's

Oscar Robinson Ransbottom Cookie Jar with Lid.


Marked on the bottom “Oscar”. 
Others out there are reproductions but this original, circa 1940s cookie jar is very nice even with the age wear. 

The Dough Boy is an image from WWI and this WWII era cookie jar was a signifier and nod to the new young soldiers who were just heading out to war. 
The finish is a mat finish with still very bold and strong colors. 

Size: approx. 9″ tall and 9″ wide with hat
Condition: Very light marks to the outside, original paint, no cracks to jar minor paint wear to the green colored lid. Please see the images for details, no cracks but please ask for more images of details.
