Vollis Simpson 1919- Lucama, North Carolina Outsider artist creating unique and mechanical Whirligigs.
This 1991 Airplane Whirligig used a blade from a fan, parts from a wood railing and other found flat metal pieces. All painted and decorated to resemble a WWI Bi-plane.
The plane is approx. 29" long x 24" wide
