Quarter Plate Daguerreotype of Man with Gold Tinted Watch Chain Circa 1850's

A very fine Daguerreotype of man with hand tinted Gold Watch Chain.

Size" Quarter Plate, 1/4 plate - 3-1/4 x 4-1/4
Condition: The hint is separated and some dust and soiling to the glass, slight oxidation to left top side of the plate. The image is in fine condition.

The man is unidentified and the case appears to be mid 1800's. More Daguerreotype and Ambrotypes will be posted from this small collection with many from the Philadelphia area.
