Richard & The Young Lions You Can Make It b/w To Have And To Hold on Philips 40438 White Label Promo.

The band started in 1965, a New Jersey Garage band and only lasted a few years, just enough to record a few singles. The band was originally called The Emeralds but changed their name when Richard Tepp joined the band. Their first two singles had the distinctive fuzz tone of guitar with the great raspy vocal, but the third single was a jump, amazing overdubs and a fast paced stomper! What a great single

Condition: Vinyl is high VG+, plays and sounds great, slight distortion at very high ends, but it is very minor. SIDE 2 plays about equal, a light crackle very low and faint below the music but only sometimes heard. A couple very faint hairlines can been seen but no tracking issues on either side. Labels are solid Vg+, very light rubbing from storage on side 1 and side 2 has slightly more, very minor and very light. Sleeve is Vg+, original white and green factory sleeve, very light wrinkle from storage at the top edge and lower corners have very minor bumps.
