A Taxidermy Sideshow Gaff Devil Fish Dime Museum Specimen
This is a Devil Fish gaff.
They were made to depict strange humanoid creatures in circus sideshows or dime museums. In actuality the gaff is a Shovel Nose Shark that have been cut up to resemble a creature with wings that walks on two legs.
This older gaff piece has been in my clients collection for 20+ years.
Most of these items come from the Florida region.
Size: 13" long by 5" wide wing span.
