Sixth Plate Ambrotype by J H Young Photographer New York Studio Stovepipe Hats
Strong image and a very nice of two young men arm and arm with black stovepipe top hats. The top hat being made famous by Lincoln and became an American fashion soon after he died.
Photographer stamp on the mat lower right and the address of the studio lower right.
