One of the early books on the New York City graffiti and with the great writing of Norman Mailer. What is nice is the inside cover and first page has documented the names of what the graffiti is. Any collector or person interest in 1970's New York and the art scene/ music scene will need this book. Shows what was a common sight all over New York at the time. An era that will never come back, yes the era was riddled with violence and dangers and poverty and urban decay, but it was a time of street art which was the only thing people had to call their own. An amazing time that will sadly never be recreated.

Size: 10 1/2 x 14 3/4 tall
Condition: Good with some marks to the cover and aging bent and wrinkled corners with shelf wear to the top and bottom edge of the cover. Slight rubbing to the spine edge. Back cover has same issues. Binding is fine but shows some wear, noticeable on the inside cover, glue is worn. Please see the images of this area. No writing inside and the pages are crips and the color photos are amazing and vibrant. Please see the images for more details.
