David Sylvian the main front man in the 1970's and early 80’s band Japan. Lumped into the New Romantic genre but the band ’s front man Sylvian was more than that. His writing and lyrics have been reprinted many times, each gaining more awareness to his moving and poetic lyrics.
After his time in Japan, he did his first solo record in 1982 and collaborated with many artists such as Can’s Holger Czukay, Robert Fripp, Jon Hassell and more, with verge on avant garde sounds to ambient to jazz fusion.
His book, Trophies is a collection lyrics compiled into book form with beautiful and almost romantic in appearance. The fine, Japan paper with printed flowers to visual textured paper showing his lyrics in script style. A book that looks to poetry book than a collection of lyrics. 

Published in January 1988, this edition being the second, April 1988 is published by Opium (Arts) ltd. in the UK.

Condition: very fine with light bumped bottom spine from storage and very faint and minor bumped lower corners from storage with slight and faint rubbing at the very edge. Please see images for details.  The cover is very clean with no marks. The back has original Made in United Kingdom sticker on the back. Very faint soiling to the bottom edge of the pages.
