Two Men Holding A Bag of Mussels Southern US Gulf of Mexico Circa 1900

Look close and you will miss it, but these two men are holding a bag of mussels. The trees in the back are a palm tree and very similar to the ones found in the Gulf area of Florida and also in Louisiana area. Mussels like these are found in Salt Water area. One man sits holding a bag and the other man is standing holding a sack of mussels. As you can see by the standing man, his face is highlighted by natural outside light. The tintype is in its original paper mat with no markings of the photographer. Size: 2 3/8 x 3 1/2 inches Condition: finger print is on the top right side and slight varnish crazing when held at an angle. The back of the paper mat is open so photo will slide around.
