The Reprints are the same as the originals but have the block on the back, “Reprinted in 1988 by Searchlight Publishing 126 9th Avenue San Francisco CA. 94118”.

V. Vale (1944) is and will be the figure that taught so many people about the counter culture. His  start with Search and Destroy would bring into focus punk music and was for many the only way to see the different bands on the coasts. Starting RE/Search Publishing soon after, Vale would be the source for curious and outsiders and for many these magzine,/ tabloid was the only way to hear about the subculture. His importance to music and culture can not be under valued.
