Very Rare Globe Wernicke Desk w/ Legs, Cupboard 2 Door Cabinet Base

Globe Wernicke made the rarely seen Desk Unit with legs and 2 door section called Cupboard Units. The finish is the 299 style which in the catalog is called " Quartered Oak polished finish with Oxidized Brass trimmings". The legs are not the original but are a high customized replica of the original legs that match perfect. The legs are copied from the original pattern of the legs and attach to the desk with wood dows and metal clips. The man who made these legs in located on the internet and is one of the top makers of these legs. It is very rare to have the original legs to these desks.
The bookcase on top of the desk is a Macey ( marked 98 ) but is the same finish as the Globe Wernicke 299. The base of this unit has the drawer that adds to this already impressive piece.
The total measurement of the desk is 58" x 34" x 18 1/2" deep. The desk open is 33" deep.
